Patricia Lies
Patricia Anna Lies age 90 of Cincinnati, Ohio died Friday, July 27, 2018.
She was born on March 12, 1928 in Ft. Recovery, Ohio the daughter of Anthony and Marcella (Gebele) VonderHaar.
She was a devoted wife and an incredible mother of 7 children. With her husband she started and helped run the family business, Colerain Animal Clinic. Patricia was a member of the Green Township Senior Center and LifeSpring Christian Church. With a beautiful smile, she was a friend to all who came in contact with her.
Patricia married the love of her life, the late Dr. John Lies, on June 7, 1952. They were married for 58 years.
She is survived by her son Dr. Mike (Barbara) Lies, Janet (Jim) Stoffer, Jim Lies, Barbara (Glenn) Drees, Susan (Roger) Fray, Jeannie (Pete) Schalk and Sarah (John) Ley; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and brother, Bob (Joan) VonderHaar.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Mary Hinger.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 5-8 PM at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy, Ohio 45231.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 10:00 AM at LifeSpring Christian Church, 1373 West Galbraith Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Followed by interment at Oak Hill Cemetery.
