ST. HENRY - Council members reluctantly passed an emergency resolution during Monday's meeting to amend the village's income tax ordinance to comply with a state law.
NEW BREMEN - The village will usher in autumn with the season's favorite flavor at its annual Pumpkinfest on Sept. 28-29.
The fall atmosphere gives Pumpkimfest a different kind of feel from the traditional summer festivals, said Amanda Hurley, co-president of the Pumpkinfest committee.
