Jean Schwartz
Jean E. Schwartz, age 83, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018 at the Joint Township District Hospital in St. Marys.
She was Born on Jan 25, 1935 in Gibsonburg, Ohio to the late Claude and Vella (Ottney) Kirwen. On November 28, 1957 married Thomas A. Schwartz, who died February 7, 2008.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law; Thomas (Traci) Schwartz of Weatherford, TX, Steven (Ute) Schwartz of St. Marys, James (Dana) Schwartz of Celina, John & Kellie Schwartz Celina, daughters and sons-in-law Marilyn (James) Tracy of Englewood, Mary Love of New Bern, N.C., Martha (Jimmy) Calderon of Lawrence, KA, Maureen (Kevin) Parker of Chevy, WA, Michelle Schwieterman of Roanoke, IN, 23 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and two brothers James (Suzie) Kirwen Rising Sun, Haldon (Pat) Kirwen of Arlington, TX.
Jean graduated from the Fremont High School with the Class of 1953 and then went to the St. Vincent's-Mercy School of Nursing to become a Registered Nurse.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina. Was active with the I. C. School and enjoyed working in the cafeteria and helping with the Funeral Meals.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday Jan. 4, 2019 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Fr. Vince Wirtner C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina.
Friends may call an Hour before services at the funeral home.
