Alberta Pohl
Alberta J. (Schmitmeyer) Pohl, age 79 of West Chester, died Sunday, May 19, 2019.
She was born March 17, 1940 in Ft. Loramie to the late Albert & Clara (Henke) Schmitmeyer. She married Leroy Pohl and he survives in West Chester.
She is also survived by her children, Greg & Lynda Pohl of Cincinnati, Randy & Melissa Pohl of Cincinnati, and Robert Pohl of Greensville, South Carolina; grandchildren, Connor, Alexandra, Cameron, Bradley, Rachel and Aidan; siblings and in-laws, John & Rita Schmitmeyer of Coldwater, Marian & Lowell Homan of New Bremen, Ted & Connie Schmitmeyer of Versailles, Lester & Jane Schmitmeyer of Ft. Loramie, Fr. James Schmitmeyer of Borger, Texas, Lavern Pohl of Chickasaw, Arlene Pohl of Versailles, Eileen & Robert Stelzer of Coldwater, Carl & Mary Ann Pohl of Maria Stein, Dennis Pohl of Greenville, Larry & Jessie Pohl of Alpharetta, Georgia, and Nancy & Jerry Meyer of Columbus.
She is preceded in death by in-laws Rita Pohl and Roger Pohl.
She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, West Chester.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater with Fr. James Schmitmeyer, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Martin Cemetery, Osgood.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater from 3 to 7 pm Friday May 24th and from 9 to 10 am Saturday.
Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
