The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 900 AM EDT.
* At 606 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Kathryn Yaney
Kathryn Mae Yaney, age 93, of Celina, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the Cridersville Healthcare Center.
She was born on May 17, 1926 in St. Marys, Ohio to the late James S. and Alma C. (Lehman) Casperson. On November 10, 1945 she married Willis L. Yaney, who died on Jan. 10, 1988.
Survivors include her three children; Pam Coolman of Ft. Wayne, Jim (Lori) Yaney and Cheryl Vannette, both of Celina. She has seven grandchildren; Cindy (Steve) Stewart, Jim (Cathy) Yaney, Steve (Stacy) Coolman, Loren (Angie) Yaney, Heather (Keith) Buck, Luke (Vicki) Vannette, Willis (Laci) Yaney, eighteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Gloria Mason of Cardington.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters and brothers-in-law Mary Margaret Casperson, Betty (Junior) Grace, Nancy (Louis) Hendricks, Barbara Ellen Casperson, her son-in-law Paul Coolman and her brother-in-law Richard Mason.
She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church Hopewell Township in Celina. She enjoyed her arts and crafts and building a good puzzle. Her family was her pride and joy in Life.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2020 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Vicar Adam Poe officiating. Burial will follow in the Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
