* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1044 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

Janet Lee Emans
Janet Lee Emans, age 85, of Mendon, passed away Friday, January 31, 2020, at her daughter Linda's home in Celina.
She was born August 28, 1934, in Mercer County. Her father, Herman Trisel, and mother, Mary E. Bennett Trisel Snyder, are deceased.
Janet married Stanley E. Emans on January 27, 1951, and he survives with their 6 children: Candace K. Miller of Shelbyville, IN, Debby (Tom) Cummins of Celina, Tina A. (Craig) Lindsay of Mankato, MN, Gary E. (Mary) Emans of Payne, Linda L. Lloyd of Celina, and Lisa R. (Ron) Searight of Rockford; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
7 brothers & sisters: Ben (Molly) Trisel of Celina, Mary Ann (Eldon) Fisher of Mendon, Marty (Karen) Trisel of Ohio City, Lynn A. Trisel of Mendon, Max Trisel of Montpelier, Danny Trisel of Van Wert, and
Linda B. (George) Swygart of Mendon, also survive.
She was preceded in death by her step-father, Wayne Snyder, and a sister-in-law, Vickie Trisel.
Janet was a homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Mendon First Church of God, and had belonged to the Mendon Order of the Eastern Star Chapter#259.
Knitting, crocheting, sewing, cooking, baking, and attending functions at Mendon-Union Schools, were pastimes Janet enjoyed throughout the years.
Janet was very proud of her family, and dearly loved her grandchildren and brothers and sisters.
Calling Hours are being held at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Mendon, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, February 4th.
Services will follow, beginning at Noon, with Pastor Randy Christian officiating. Burial will take place at Mendon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Care.
