* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Southerly winds will increase today ahead of an approaching cold front. Sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph can be expected with gusts of 35 to 45 mph at times this afternoon. Be sure to secure outdoor objects.

Livestock champions sell at auction

The reserve champion market lamb shown by Washington Winners member Sidney Doner, daughter of Craig and Katie Doner, sold for a record $3,300 to a group including Cavalier Transportation Inc., Seth and Amanda Kohnen and Family, Trent Gamble Farms, Betsy Boutique Shop, TK2020, Darin Knapke, Scarlot Acres, American Family Insurance-Devin Sheets, Amishville USA Campground, Steve Knapke and McNeilan Farms.
