Shirley E. Bergman
Shirley E. Bergman, age 61, of Cassella, died Friday, January 22, 2021 at The Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus.
She was born June 19, 1959 in St. Marys, to Alma (Hoehne) Timmerman, and the late Louis A. Timmerman. Her mother survives in Coldwater.
On February 23, 1979, in St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sharpsburg, she married Ernest Bergman and he survives in Cassella.
She is also survived by children and in-laws: Brian Bergman of Perrysburg, Mindi & Charles Allison and Lisa Bergman all of St. Louis, MO, Aaron Bergman of Cassella, two grandchildren Dominique Tuttle, and Natasha Allison, a sister, Nancy & Patrick Reinhard, and in-laws: Mary & Matt Davis, Dennis & Connie Bergman, and Betty & Carl York.
In addition to her father, Shirley is preceded in death by a daughter Carla Bergman, a sister Bonnie Garland, and in-laws: Ronald Bergman, Virginia Bergman, and Michael Bergman, and her father and mother-in-law Michael and Erma (Knapke) Bergman and stepmother-in-law, Catherine (Homan) Bergman.
She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Cassella and the Ladies Sodality. Shirley was a 1977 graduate of Fort Recovery High School. She enjoyed her grandchildren and playing cards and board games.
A Funeral Mass following all CDC guidelines will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Cassella.
Friends may call from 10 am -1 pm on Friday, January 29, at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry. Burial will follow in Nativity Cemetery, Cassella.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Myotonic Dystrophy Fund, in care of the Ft. Recovery Community Foundation, P.O. Box 52 Ft. Recovery, OH 45846.
