An Arctic front will sweep east across the region between 5 AM and 9 AM. A few hours of snow showers and west wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph will occur with the frontal passage. While any accumulations will generally be a half inch or less, some challenging travel conditions may develop given, rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities, strong wind and cold temperatures. These conditions will impact the morning commute. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

David Masonbrink
David A. Masonbrink, 68, of Saint Marys, died 7:45 A.M. Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, from COVID-19.
He was born December 17, 1952, in Celina, Ohio, the son of Leroy and Norma (Burger) Masonbrink. He married Vicki Storer on May 20, 1972; she survives at the residence.
He is also survived by his daughters: LaTisha (Mike Schwartz) Liming of Saint Marys; Gayle Masonbrink of Saint Marys; Kassondra (Justin) Serio of Saint Marys. He is survived by his grandchildren: Braeden (Sydney) Miller of Saint Marys; Dalston (Shelby Miller) Liming of Rockford; Keyton (Shelby Koenig) Liming of Saint Marys; Carson Liming of Saint Marys; Colton Schwartz of Saint Marys; Aliveah Masonbrink of Saint Marys; Alainah Serio of Saint Marys; Ameliah Serio of Saint Marys. He is survived by his great-grandchildren: Olivia Miller; Brynn Miller; Lennox Miller; Weston Miller; Elesius Liming of Rockford. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Ludy Storer of Saint Marys, and by his wife's siblings: Dale (Stacy Thobe) Storer; Dennis Storer; Darrell (Dianne) Storer; David Storer; Julie (Brian) Salmons; Lori (Bridget) Storer; Tracy (Mike McIntire) Liggett.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by his siblings: Jack Masonbrink and Iris Judy; by his father-in-law, Elmer Storer.
Dave graduated from Saint Marys Memorial High School in 1971. He retired from the Auglaize County Maintenance Department, and then worked at D&R Golf Cars in Celina. Dave had a real passion for the annual Saint Marys Summerfest, and helped put the festival on since its inception. He served on the Summerfest Committee, spending countless hours to make the weekend festival a success. He served as Senior Vice at VFW Post 9289, enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Ohio State Buckeyes, and he loved his dog.
Funeral rites will be held 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Pastor Bob Warren, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to the Saint Marys Community Foundation.
All visitors to the funeral home are required to wear a mask, in accordance with the mandates of the Ohio Department of Health.
