* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following county, in west central Ohio, Mercer.
* WHEN...Until 300 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1101 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, Coldwater, Wabash, Mendon, Montezuma, Tama and Neptune.

Stanley Emans
Stanley Eugene Emans, age 94, of Mendon, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at the EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.
He was born December 9, 1927, in Celina, to Harry S. & Luella (Selanders) Emans. Stanley and Janet Lee Trisel were married on January 27, 1951, and she preceded him in death January 31, 2020.
Their 6 children survive: Candace K. Miller of Shelbyville, IN, Debby (Tom) Cummins of Celina, Tina A. (Craig) Lindsay of Mankato, MN, Gary E. (Mary) Emans of Payne, Linda L. Lloyd of Celina, and Lisa R. (Ron) Searight of Rockford, along with 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Also surviving are Janet's brothers & sisters: Marty (Karen) Trisel of Ohio City, Ben (Mollie) Trisel of Celina, Mary Ann (Eldon) Fisher of Mendon, Linda B. (George) Swygart of Mendon, Max Trisel of Montpelier, Danny Trisel of Van Wert, and Lynn A. Trisel of Mendon.
Stanley was the last surviving sibling of his family, preceded in death by his 6 brothers & sisters: Cleo (Sylvester) Moorman, Helen (Anton) Schlueter, Raymond (Marjorie) Emans, Alfred (Marilyn) Emans, Rhonda (Roger) Eitzman, and Pat (Homer) Rice, a sister-in-law: Vickie Trisel, parents-in-law: Herman Floyd Trisel and Mary Elizabeth Bennett Trisel Snyder, and step-father-in-law: Wayne Snyder.
He had attended Mendon-Union Schools, and served with the U.S. Army at the end of World War II. Stanley had worked at the General Electric Evendale Plant. He retired from Speicher Brothers after more than 20 years of employment as a welder and repairman, then later worked at Thieman Tailgates. He had been a member of Mendon Masonic Lodge #586, then Rockford Shanes Lodge #377. As hobbies, Stanley enjoyed woodworking and antiques. He also liked hunting for rocks to polish and collecting fossils.
Private Services are planned to be held for the immediately family, with Pastor Randy Christian, officiating. Burial will take place at Mendon Cemetery.
