* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1044 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

David Franzer
David Alvin Franzer, age 75, of Coldwater, died July 10, 2022, at his home in Coldwater.
He was born September 25, 1946, in Butler County, Ohio, to the late David & Mary Ann Denney.
He is also preceded in death by his adopted parents, Leander & Alvina (Kremer) Franzer. On July 4, 1996, he married Ruth (Schrage) Jutte-Franzer. She survives along with his children: Clint (Michelle) Franzer of Seattle, WA, Ty (Jaimee) Franzer of Seattle WA, Shane (Nicole) Franzer of Port Huron, MI and Nicholas Franzer of Pittsburg, PA; grandchildren: Lucas, Jack, Justin, Khyla, & Kynlee Franzer; a great grandchild Liam Franzer; Step-children: Pat (Mary) Jutte of Venedocia, Christine (Scott) Pierstorff of Celina, Jacque (Keith) Hansel of St. Marys, Donna (Michael) Woodcock of Auburn, IN and Jerry (Jackie) Jutte of Celina.
He was preceded in death by brother Nicholas Franzer; Parents-in-law, Charles (Tubby) & Lauretta Schrage and brother-in-law, William Schrage.
  David graduated from St. Henry High School and was drafted into the US Army serving in Vietnam. He was a dairy geneticist and specialized in the Holstein breed. He was respected for his knowledge as young as the age of 22. He earned an award as the seventh-place winner out of 95,3300 contestants for cow judging by Hoards Dairyman Magazine. He was featured in the International Holstein Magazine for his breeding. His best friend Casey Jones in Friendsville, PA who he would talk cows and bulls for hours. Dave said he was a son from another mother.
It was Dave's life's wish to breed cows and bulls that would exceed in milk production and excellent components that would feed the world. He was known for his loyalty to the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Reds. Dave's love of family, GOD and country was known by his friends. He will be sadly missed by anyone who got to know him.
  A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the Hogenkamp funeral home in Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Carthagena.
Friends may call from 10 until time of service on Saturday.
