The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 900 AM EDT.
* At 606 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Lela Siebert
Lela M. (Archer) Siebert, age 87, passed away at 3:53 pm on Friday, July 15, 2022, at The Gardens in Celina.
She was born on May 23, 1935, in Mercery County to the late Guy & Naomi (Smith) Archer. On June 30, 1953, she married Paul Siebert, who preceded her in death on October 26, 2018.
She is survived by her four loving children, Richard (Lyn) Siebert of Wirtz, Virginia, Daniel (Sue) Siebert of Celina, Kathleen (Paul) Bonvillian of Celina, and Barbara (Russell) Bensman of St. Henry; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Stephen, brother, Wilbur Archer and sisters, Mary Archer and Jeanette Archer.
Lela was a 1953 graduate of Mendon High School and worked most of her life as a homemaker. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church, Hopewell Township in Rockford, was a past chairperson of Blood Services for the Mercer County Red Cross and was an adult Sunday School Teacher for many years. She enjoyed baking, reading, gardening and embroidering. Lela was a caring and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to many; she will be truly missed.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina.
Funeral service take place on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 10:30 am at St. John Lutheran Church, Hopewell Township, 9009 State Route 118, Celina, Ohio 45822, with Pastor Adam Poe officiating.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 am - 10:30 am at the church. Interment will follow at Buck Cemetery in Celina.
Memorial contributions can be made in Lela's name to St. John Lutheran Church, Hopewell Township.
