Hilda Fisher
Hilda L. Fisher, age 95, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Celina Manor.
She was born June 4, 1927 in Burkettsville, Ohio to the late William and Ida (Kothman) Heinrichs. On June 28, 1952 she married Thomas M. Fisher and he preceded her in death on December 31, 1997.
Survivors include her children, Lynn (Robert) Eischen, Celina, Shelley (Bill) Evans, South Carolina, Dan (Steve Horstman) Fisher, Delphos and Jill (Tom) Knapke, Celina; grandchildren, Craig (Mandy) Fisher, Celina, Tom (Renee) Fisher, Celina, Andy Eischen, Burkettsville, and Josh (Jamie) Staugler, North Carolina; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Hilda is also preceded in death by a son, Doug Fisher; a daughter, Bec Kinnison; a sister, Stella (Raymond) Exterovich; a brother, Robert (Lucille) Heinrichs; a grandson, Brian Eischen; and in-laws, Cliff (Rita) Fisher, Barb (Linus) Huelskamp and Glenn (Frances) Rose.
She was a 1945 graduate of St. Henry High School. She worked at Buckeye Apparel in Coldwater and retired from Mersman Furniture Factory in Celina after 15 plus years of service. Active in many religious organizations, Hilda was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Celina, the Altar Rosary Society and Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 am on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Celina with Fr. John Tonkin officiating.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina on Thursday morning prior to Mass. Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina.
