Marvin Lamm
Marvin John Lamm, born July 20, 1955, 67, of Union City, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on September 29, 2022. He was diagnosed with cancer November of 2017 and fought a courageous 5-year battle.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Sharp) Lamm of 35 years. He is the father of 4 children; Lisa (Ryan) Collins, Emily (Blaine) Manning, Daniel (Jessica) Lamm.
He is preceded in death by his youngest son Dustin James Lamm.
He is a grandfather "Pap" to 7, soon to be 8; James Antonoglou, Keaton Collins, Grace Collins, Luke Collins, Harper Manning, Hayes Manning, Myles Lamm, and baby girl Lamm due in February 2023.
He is also preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Agnes (Jutte) Lamm.
He is survived by his siblings; Mike (Irene) Lamm, Eileen Lamm, Alice (Thomas) Messer, Darlene (Richard) Frantz, and Sharon (Ken) Livingston. He is also survived by in-laws; Steve and Marsha Boyd, Kenny and Becky Rogers, Steve and Patty Sharp, and several nieces and nephews.
Marvin worked at TOA and their predecessors for 30+ years, retiring in 2017 due to his illness. He enjoyed spending his leisure time drinking coffee, watching the Pacers, Colts, and WWE. He was also an avid book reader. He considered himself a simple man who got the most joy from his family, especially those who called him "Pap".
A service to celebrate Marvin's life will be held at Fraze-Brooks Memorial Chapel in Union City, Indiana, on Thursday October 6, 2022.
Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 4-6 PM.
Funeral services will follow directly after at 6PM. Services will be followed by cremation.
