* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional storms will move into the area after midnight, persisting through late Friday morning. Heavy rain can be expected with these storms, with the risk of flash flooding increasing with storms that repeatedly move over the same locations.

David Sommer
David A. Sommer, age 60, of Botkins, formerly of New Bremen, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday, October 1, 2022.
He was born on April 2, 1962 in St. Marys, the son of the late Aloys S. "Junior" Sommer, and Marilyn K. (Swallow) Sommer who survives in New Bremen. On March 27, 1987, he married Mary K. Nichols who survives.
He leaves behind his siblings: Alan (Christy) Sommer of Indian Trail, NC, Rhonda (Barry) Gill of New Bremen, and Theresa (Jim) McElwee of Deleware, OH. Also left to cherish his memory are in-laws: Jon and Jayne Nichols of Muncie, IN, Dan and Missy Nichols of London, KY, his mother in-law Charmaine Nichols of Muncie, IN and his numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his father, he was also preceded in death by his father in-law Bill Nichols.
A service to honor David's life will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022 beginning at 5:00 P.M. at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen with Pastor Mark Burd officiating.
Calling hours will be held prior to the services on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions in David's memory can be made to the Anna Rescue Squad (203 S. Linden Street, Anna, Ohio 45302).
