Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Clyde Wicker
Clyde R. Wicker, 81, of St. Marys, OH died at 7:51 a.m. Saturday July 29, 2023 at JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.
He was born May 30, 1942 in Mousie, KY to Edgle and Cordie (Tuttle) Wicker. On October 14, 1961 in Wapakoneta, OH he married Connie S. Market, who survives.
Also survived by: son Danny Wicker of St. Marys, OH; son Randy Wicker of St. Marys, OH; daughter Angie (Matt) Sheipline of St. Marys, OH; 8 grandchildren: Ashley, Kelley, Shawnda, Lindsay, Marcus, Brittney, Amy, Adam; 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: parents Edgle and Cordie Wicker; son Terry Lee Wicker; daughter-in-law Susan Wicker; brother Palmer Slone; brother William Lee Wicker; sister Vertie Chaffins; sister Evelyn Hale; sister Margaret Slone; brother James "Bud" Wicker.
He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1961).
A tool and die maker in the experimental development department, he retired from the AVCO - New Idea Corp. in Coldwater, OH after many years of service.
He attended the First Baptist Church in St. Marys.
He was an avid supporter of Kentucky Wildcats basketball, OSU Buckeyes football and all things St. Marys Roughriders. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and professional wrestling. More than anything else, he enjoyed spending time with his family tinkering on automobiles, having instilled upon them an appreciation for the Ford Mustang.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday August 4, 2023 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys. Pastor Keith Stuck will officiate the services. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
