* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lull in rainfall will continue for much of the day. However, additional storms will move into the area later this afternoon. The risk of heavy rainfall will be greatest tonight into early Friday morning. There is also the potential for storms to repeatedly move over the same locations, which increases flash flood risk.

Ralph Sanders
Ralph Edward Sanders, 77 of Beavercreek and formerly of St. Marys, passed away on December 29, 2023 at Ohio Hospice of Dayton.
He was born December 19, 1946 in St. Marys to the late Gerald and Viola (Topp) Sanders. On November 21, 1985 he married Nadine (Tuttle) Sanders and she preceded him in death on June 6, 2014.
Survivors include his children, Angela Yocum, Beavercreek, Ohio and Christopher Yocum, Defiance, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Zayne Yocum and Xander Eldridge.
Ralph was also preceded in death by his siblings, Paul, Delores, Norbert, Mary, Fred, Ruth, Gerald Jr., Dorothy "Dot" and Carl.
He was a 1964 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School and went on to receive his bachelor's degree. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for nine years. He retired from St. Vincent Hospital in Winchester, Indiana after many years of service, where he worked as a medical technologist, running the hospital lab. Ralph enjoyed gardening, making his famous beef jerky, fishing, boating, hunting, cooking, being outdoors, watching the Cincinnati Reds, even when they were losing, sitting on the patio watching nature and wood workings.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Cisco Funeral Home in St. Marys with Rev. Tim Benjamin officiating; where the family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the start of the service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. To conclude the services military rites to be conducted by St. Marys VFW Post #9289.
