* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lull in rainfall will continue for much of the day. However, additional storms will move into the area later this afternoon. The risk of heavy rainfall will be greatest tonight into early Friday morning. There is also the potential for storms to repeatedly move over the same locations, which increases flash flood risk.

Phyllis Godwin
Phyllis A. Godwin, 84, of Celina, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024, at Vancrest of St. Marys.
She was born March 8, 1939 in Celina to the late Harry H. and Mabel L. (Eversman) Moellenkamp.
Survivors include her children, Sheryl (Jeff) Routt, Van Wert, Jeffrey (Juli) Godwin, Westerville, Ohio, Dianne (Kenneth) Wiehe, Celina and Sharron (Tailo Brown) Godwin, Dayton; four grandchildren, Kolyn (Roni), Clark, Rhett and Tori; and one great grandson, Kaiden.
Phyllis was also preceded in death by a half sister, Clara E. Grider.
She was a 1957 graduate of New Knoxville High School. She worked at Jim's Harley-Davidson Sales in Mendon for many years, K-Mart in St. Marys and retired from Visions in Celina after 20 years of service. Phyllis was member of Grand Lake United Methodist Church in Celina. She enjoyed reading, sewing, embroidery and most of all spending time with her family.
Memorial services will begin at 4:00 pm on Thursday, January 4, 2023 at Grand Lake United Methodist Church in Celina with Rev. Matt Overman officiating; where the family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm prior to the services at the church.
Memorial contributions can be given to Grand Lake United Methodist Church and/or Cancer Association of Mercer County.
