* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lull in rainfall will continue for much of the day. However, additional storms will move into the area later this afternoon. The risk of heavy rainfall will be greatest tonight into early Friday morning. There is also the potential for storms to repeatedly move over the same locations, which increases flash flood risk.

Michael Rhoads
Michael "Mikee" Rhoads, age 73, of Maria Stein, died Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.
He was born December 15, 1950 in Miami Dade County, Florida to the late Lyman & Anne Isabel (Roberts) Rhoads.
He is survived by his wife Teresa (Buening) Rhoads, a son Mark (Jennifer) Rhoads, a daughter Amber (Dave) Givens; four grandchildren Shane, Justin, Tiffany & Alyana; two great grandchildren Gianna and Asher; and siblings and in-laws Bev Temple (dec), Sue Gilbert, John (Dana) Rhoads, Leo (Julie) Buening, Dave (Kathy) Buening, Diane Buening, Dennis (Cindy) Buening, Mark (Kelly) Buening, Carol (Steve) Miller and Phyllis (Jim) Rutschilling.
Mikee was president of the Mad Hatters Van Club, past president of Abate of Ohio Mercer County branch, He was a member of the St. Marys Eagles and V.F.W. and the Celina Moose. He worked for General Dynamics as a journeyman pipefitter and owned All Purpose Golf Cart repair. Mikee loved golfing, dogs and riding his motorcycle.
