At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Thomas Ruetschilling
Thomas H. Ruetschilling, age 80 of Minster, Ohio died Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at his home in Minster, Ohio.
He was born on June 2, 1943, in Coldwater, Ohio and raised by Cletus & Irene (Ruetschilling) Lampert. He married Roseann Bruns on July 15, 1967, at Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw, Ohio, and she survives in Minster.
He is also survived by daughters and husbands: Linda and Jamison Wilson, Centerville, and her children Lauryn Burdette, Taylor Burdette and fiance Dylan McDermott; Christa and Carl McNaughton, New Bremen, and their children Derek Bornhorst and Trevor McNaughton; sisters-in-law: Irene Bruns, Chickasaw and Pat Bruns, New Bremen.
He was preceded in death by his parents and in-laws: Dan & Mary Bruns, Walt Bruns, Joseph Bruns, Ken Bruns.
He was a member of St. Augustine Church, graduated from Minster High School, and retired from Dannon Yogurt. He played softball, enjoyed fishing, all outdoor activities and nature. He was an avid OSU and Browns fan and enjoyed all sports. Tom kept a meticulous yard but especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Grand Lake Hospice and Cancer Association of Auglaize County.
