At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Gerald Puthoff
Gerald V. Puthoff, age 78 of Fort Loramie, Ohio, died on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.     
He was born on May 8, 1945 in Celina, Ohio to the late Albert & Mary Agnes (Clune) Puthoff. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather Urban Nerderman.
He is survived by sons: Daniel & Mary Elizabeth Puthoff, Kettering, their children: Sarah & Jared Smith, Samuel, Mitchell, Lucas, Tim & Jill Puthoff, Minster, their children Alexander, Matthew, brothers & sisters: Roger & Pat Puthoff, Bradford, Donna & Dennis Henshaw, Winchester, IN, Teresa Seitz, Coldwater, stepbrother Jim & Mary Lou Nerderman, Versailles sister-in-law Elaine Puthoff, Chickasaw, and numerous nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by Frederick Puthoff, Carol Puthoff, Donald Puthoff, Virgil Puthoff, in-law Steve Seitz, and infant brother Richard.
He was a member of Chickasaw VFW, New Bremen American Legion and was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War.     
Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Fort Loramie Rescue Squad.
