* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Fayette, Franklin, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Auglaize, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hardin, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Preble, Ross, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Another round of showers and thunderstorms is expected to move through the region Saturday into Saturday night. Given the saturated ground, additional heavy rainfall may result in flash flooding.

James Coats
James "Jim" J. Coats, Sr., age 82, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at his home in Celina.
He was born June 23, 1941 in Celina to the late Howard and Mildred (Roberts) Coats. On October 20, 1962 he married Bonnie L. (Bretz) Coats and she survives at the residence in Celina.
Other survivors include his children, Melinda Lockwood, Celina; James (Lisa) Coats, Jr., Celina; Tisha (Joe) Post, Celina; and Robin (Charlie) Steinbrunner, Celina; a sister, Barbra Doty, Wapakoneta; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
He is also preceded in death by five brothers, Don, Howard, V. Paul, Dallas and Irvin Coats; and two sisters, Betty Joseph and Joyce Ward.
Jim retired from the Mercer County Highway Department in Celina after 32 years of service, where he loved to plow snow. He was a member of Celina American Legion Post #210, Celina VFW Post #5713 and he volunteered for the Sheriffs Auxiliary for many years. Jim enjoyed driving around town in his truck, mowing, recycling and most of all spending time with his family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, February 5, 2024 at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Tim Benjamin officiating; where the family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina.
