Celina Middle School hosts its 19th annual Mini-Relay for Life at the Celina track on Wednesday morning. Faculty, students and a large amount of cancer survivors enjoyed the sunny day with a survivor's lap around the track, a speech by keynote speaker George Moore, a raffle and a slew of other fun activities. Since the inception of the mini-relay, Celina Middle School has helped raise almost $350,000 for cancer research. This year, with the help of a $10,000 donation from the Celina Eagles, Celina Middle School raised almost $24,000 as of Wednesday morning.
