* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following county, in west central Ohio, Mercer.
* WHEN...Until 400 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1253 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Tama and Neptune.

Regina Hemmelgarn
Regina (Rose) Hemmelgarn, 96, was born on August 11, 1927 in St. Henry to the late Roman and Marie (Leistenschneider) Rose. She died peacefully on May 9, 2024 at Hospice of Miami County. On August 11, 1948 in St. Henry Ohio she married her husband o f 64 years and he preceded her in death in December 2012.
She is survived by her nine children, Nancy Eubanks, Wash.; Kathy (Chuck) Dyas, Marysville; Don Hemmelgarn and Gayle Heitkamp, London; Wanda (Ray) Miller, Chesapeake, Va.; Elaine McArthur & Phil Colflesh, Dublin; Al (Teresa) Hemmelgarn, Grapevine, Texas; Beth (Mark) Heitkamp, Crown Point, Ind.; Marie (Terry) Daugherty, Russia; and Lou (Leandra) Hemmelgarn, Vandalia; as well as 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Rita (John) Schmitmeyer, Coldwater and in-laws Marjorie and Ralph Diller, Maria Stein; Bill Berger, St. Henry; Lucy Rose, Celina; Juneta Rose, Dayton; Irene Rose, St. Henry; and Margie Rose, Coldwater.
She was preceded in death by grandson Travis Heitkamp, son-in-law George Eubanks and siblings and spouses: Paul & Margaret Rose, Berdella & Len Hemmelgarn, Luke & Edna Rose, Herman Rose, Carl Rose, Eleanor & John Hake, Joe & Donna Rose, Fred Rose and Alfred Rose, and in-laws, Alton & Viola (Miller) Hemmelgarn, Wilma Reichart and Janice Berger.
Regina was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church in Russia and St. Rose Catholic Church in St. Rose. Regina and Elmer volunteered for 18 years at the center for Neurological Development.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday May 14, 2024 at St. Rose Catholic Church, burial to follow in St. Rose Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Russia, from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2024 and from 9 to 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.
