* WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette IN, Franklin IN, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union IN and Wayne, the following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette OH, Franklin OH, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union OH and Warren.

Bernice Poling
Bernice I. Poling, age 90, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Briarwood Village in Coldwater. She was born May 13, 1934 in Coldwater, Ohio to the late, Henry & Mary (Homan) Fortkamp. On June 18, 1955, she married Richard Poling, and he preceded her in death on July 29, 2010.
She is survived by children, Steve & Teresa Poling of St. Henry, Karen & Ken Davis of Dublin, Kevin & Theresa Poling of Keller, Texas, Mary Beth & Steve Rosenbeck of Chickasaw, Melissa & Mike Stucke of Tipp City, son in-law, Frank Arling & friend Lois Siefring of Osgood, 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and two on the way; and brother, Lavern & Elaine Fortkamp of Tipp City.
She was preceded in death by son, Kenneth Michael Poling, daughter, Rebecca Arling, and siblings and in-laws, Cy & Mary Ann Fortkamp, Rita & Jim Zehringer, Rosie & Bud May, Vince & Jean Fortkamp, Henry & Arlene Fortkamp, Alice & Gene Steinke, Ralph Fortkamp, Robert & Donna Jean Thomas, and Walt & Sharon Poling.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Bernice worked for the Gel's IGA in St. Henry, Crown in New Bremen, Coldwater Hospital and was a homemaker. She always loved supporting her grandchildren during the many activities they were involved in.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater, Ohio.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater on Friday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to EverHeart Hospice. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
