At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Dennis Eichenauer
Dennis L. Eichenauer, age 76, of rural Celina, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. He was born February 2, 1948, in Celina, to the late Kenneth E. & Luella A. Hellwarth Eichenauer. Denny and Beverly Ables were married on July 10, 1971, and Bev preceded him in death March 12, 2013.
He is survived by their daughter and son-in-law: Becky & Dusty Weitzel, 3 grandchildren: Katie (Jordan) Rodriguez, Emily Weitzel, and Carson Weitzel, a great-grandson, Jack Rodriguez, and great-granddaughter, Mabel Rodriguez, all of Celina, and his brother and sister-in-law: Calvin & Carolyn Eichenauer of Wabash, IN.
Also surviving him are Bev's sister and brother: Trish Simonton of Mason and Jim Ables of Blanchester, and nieces & nephews.
Denny was preceded in death by his daughter: Laurie Lynn Eichenauer Hendricks, who died May 12, 2022, parents-in-law: Jimmy and Gaynelle Potter Ables, and a brother-in-law: Randy Ables.
A 1966 graduate of Celina Senior High School, Denny served in the Army National Guard. He was a member of Grand Lake United Methodist Church - St. Paul's Campus, in Celina.
A lifelong farmer in Hopewell and Jefferson Townships, Denny absolutely loved being outdoors and in the fields. Denny was the owner-operator of Eichenauer Farms and Construction. When not in the fields, Denny and his son-in-law, Dusty, were busy on many building projects in the local area.
Work was Denny's life, but he also reserved time for family. For nearly 45 years, Denny took a week long annual vacation to Florida, spending quality time with the whole family. He also focused on attending his grandchildren's events, rarely missing a game. His family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were everything to him.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 15, at Grand Lake United Methodist Church - St. Paul's Campus, 119 E. Fulton St., Celina. Pastor Mick Whistler will officiate.
Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling Hours are from 2:00 to 6:00 PM, Wednesday, August 14, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, and also on Thursday at St. Paul's Church, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
