At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Thomas Meyer
Thomas W. Meyer, age 86 of Minster, Ohio, died Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at St. Rita's.
He was born August 4, 1938 to the late Alfred and Loretta Meyer in Dayton, Ohio. He married Nancy Smith on May 6, 1961 at St. Augustine Church in Minster, Ohio and she survives in Minster.
He is survived by a son and daughters: John Meyer, Lima, Ohio, Lynda and Matt Ranly, New Bremen, Ohio, Susan Meyer-Swiger, Minster, Ohio, Marilyn Meyer (sister-in-law), Rochester, New York, brother-in-law Bob Meyer, sister-in-law Sharon & Harry Pettigrew; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by sister, brother, and son-in-law: Jack Meyer, Bonnie Frierott, Roland Frierott (brother-in-law), Tom Swiger.   
Tom was the owner and operator of Tom's Barber Shop for 59 years. He was a volunteer for the Minster Life Squad for 10 years, a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church, the Minster Historical society, and the Minster Eagles.
He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, taking them on pontoon rides, teaching them to fish, and spending time outdoors. He was a talented wood carver and enjoyed spending time in his workshop, carving bears, owls and ducks.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, October 8th at St. Augustine Church, Minster, Ohio.
Friends may visit with the family at the Hogenkamp funeral home in Minster on Monday, October 7th from 4:00-7:00 pm and Tuesday from 9 to 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Minster Area Life Squad, condolences may be left at www.hogenkampfh.com.
