* WHERE...Western Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio... North Central Shelby County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1015 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 714 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Rockford, New Knoxville, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, Maria Stein, State Route 116 at State Route 197 and Chattanooga.

Naomi Johnson
Naomi A. Johnson, 98, of Wapakoneta, died 7:20 p.m., Wednesday, October 16, 2024, on her birthday, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born October 16, 1926, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Kohler) Werling. On October 18, 1950, she married Victor W. Johnson, and he preceded her in death on March 8, 1985.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Theresa (William) Kline, Wapakoneta, and Mary Alice (Michael) Keller, Coldwater, OH; 3 grandsons, Timothy Johnson, Indianapolis, IN, Andrew Keller, Troy, OH, Anthony Keller, Troy, OH; a great granddaughter, Kyla Johnson, CA.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Stephen Johnson, and a sister and spouse, Ruth (Robert) Richards.
A homemaker, Naomi worked at Auglaize Acres as a housekeeper. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta, and a 1944 graduate of St. Joseph High School. Naomi enjoyed painting in oils.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 21, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta, with Rev. Sean Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, McCartyville, OH.
The family will receive friends 9-10 a.m., Monday, October 21, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the St., Joseph Catholic Church.
