* WHEN...Until 315 PM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 911 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in Wapakoneta, southwest of Kenton, and throughout Logan County. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Wapakoneta, Kenton, Russells Point, Lakeview, Waynesfield, Belle Center, West Mansfield, Chippewa Park, Northwood, Roundhead, Mount Victory, Rushsylvania, Mcguffey, Huntsville, Ridgeway, Uniopolis, State Route 195 at State Route 235, Jumbo, Walton and New Hampshire.

Elaine Brunswick
Elaine M. (Schmiesing) Brunswick, age 73, of Montezuma, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Elmwood Assisted Living Center in Minster, Ohio.
Born on January 1, 1952, in Coldwater, OH, she was the beloved daughter of the late Walter and Mary Ann (Grevenkamp) Schmiesing. On August 11, 1973, she married David Brunswick, who survives her in Montezuma.
Elaine is also survived by her siblings and in-laws: Dianne & Larry Dicke of New Bremen, Margaret "Peg" & Mike Albers of Cassella, Dean & Jane Brunswick of Osgood, and Mary Jane Kaylor of Minster.
She leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew, and daughter, Meredith.
A dedicated educator, Elaine earned a bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University and a Masters' Degree from Wright State University in Education and Library Sciences. She retired from St. Henry Schools and was an advisor of the AKTION Club of Mercer County. Elaine was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Montezuma, Ohio, and was known for her passion for propagating Monarch Butterflies.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Montezuma, OH, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater on Monday, March 17, from 2PM to 5PM and on Tuesday from 9AM to 10AM. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
