Robert Weaver, Jr.
Robert R. Weaver, Jr., 77, of St. Marys, OH died Friday June 20, 2025 25 St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH.
He was born June 8, 1948 in Celina, OH to Robert Rex and Betty (Kohler) Weaver, Sr. On August 18, 1969 in St. Marys, OH he married Sherry E. Fannon, who survives.
Also survived by: son Jeff (Brittany) Weaver of Coldwater, OH; daughter Tracy Fraley of St. Marys, OH; 5 grandchildren: Jordan Fraley, Chase Fraley, Mason Fraley, Brittney Fraley, Korryn Weaver; 8 great-grandchildren: Stryker, Payton, Maverick, Hayes, Remington, Ben, Raiden and Leo; mother Betty Weaver of St. Marys, OH; brother Joe (Stacy) Weaver of St. Marys, OH; and sister Gena Thees-Moorman of Celina, OH.
Preceded in death by: father R. Rex Weaver, Sr.; great-granddaughter Alivia Fraley; infant brother Timmy Weaver; and son-in-law Sgt. Timothy Fraley.
He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1966) and then proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. A certified welder, he retired from Crown Equipment Corporation following many years of service. Robert's favorite activities included working on various projects around his home and spending quality time with his family.
Rites are scheduled to begin 1:00 p.m. Friday June 27, 2025 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys. Burial, with full military funeral honors, will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton, OH.
Visitation 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
All attendees are encouraged to dress casually.
