* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Western Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio... North Central Shelby County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1015 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 714 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Rockford, New Knoxville, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, Maria Stein, State Route 116 at State Route 197 and Chattanooga.

At 709 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Ohio City, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Chattanooga, Kossuth, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, and Bulkhead.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Eugene Wehrman
Eugene F. "Fish" Wehrman, age 89 of Minster, Ohio, died on June 27, 2025 at Otterbein St. Marys.
He was born on September 4, 1935 in Egypt, Ohio to the late Bernard & Ursula (Rutschilling) Wehrman. He married Marjorie Hemmelgarn on September 4, 1957 in St. Bernard Church, Burkettsville and she preceded him in death on November 30, 2022.
He is survived by children: Ben & Ann Wehrman, Minster, Sandy & Terry Mathewson, Rockford, Carol Albers "Prenger" & Terry Prenger, Minster, Pam & David Seger, Ft. Loramie, 9 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, brother-in-law: Roman & Marceil Hemmelgarn, Burkettsville and sister-in-law Kathleen & Ralph Fullenkamp, Ft. Recovery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, numerous brothers & sisters and in-laws.
Fish was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Egypt and the Men's Sodality of the Church. He was also a member of the New Bremen Rod & Gun Club loved hunting and fishing and passed that trait down to his grandchildren & great grandchildren. He was avid member of the Egypt Softball Team and retired from Monarch Tool & Die.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Thursday July 3, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Egypt with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 4 to 7 PM and from 9 to 9:30 AM on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Minster Area Life Squad.
