Area football teams continue to prepare for the start of the 2025 season with the first official practice taking place on August 1.

Monday night, Parkway (light shirts) traveled to the field at Varsity Track in Celina for a 7-on-7 scrimmage featuring skill position players working on routes and plays.

Celina has another 7-on-7 scrimmage on Wednesday in Maria Stein against defending Division VII state champion Marion Local.

The first Friday of the football season is Aug. 22 with Celina traveling to St. Henry and Parkway playing host to traditional non-conference foe Crestview.
