Charles Wilker
Charles (Chuck) F. Wilker, 90, passed away peacefully at home on the farm, on September 23, 2025. Charles was born on October 10, 1934, in Auglaize County to the late Julius J. and Gertrude K. (Kramer) Wilker. He married his beloved wife of 69 wonderful years, Mary (Zumberge) Wilker and she survives in St. Marys, Ohio.
He is also survived by his children, Randy Wilker of St Marys; Michael (Beverly) Wilker of St Marys; Jeffrey Wilker of Arlington, Texas; Douglas (Shelly) Wilker of St Marys; Linda (Mick) Ginter of St Marys; and preceded in death by his daughter Diane (Joe) Price of Beavercreek, Ohio.
Also left to cherish his memories are his 18 grandchildren, and 36 great grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Carolyn Mangen of Tipp City, Ohio and his sisters-in-law JoAnn Wilker, Diana Wilker, and Marceil Wilker. Charles was preceded in death by his siblings and in-laws Martin (Madonna) Wilker, Jerome (Imelda) Wilker, Lester Wilker, Wilfred (Ruth) Wilker, Gerald Wilker, Bernard Wilker, Paul Wilker, and Earl Mangen. Charles was blessed with his three Godchildren Karen Stammen, Malina Huber and Sandy Miller.
Charles attended Coldwater High School and retired from Parker/Hannifin in 1997 and became engaged in farming his entire life with the love for his poultry farm of 60 plus years.
He was a devoted member of the Holy Rosary Church of St Marys and the Knights of Columbus. Charles enjoyed ballroom dancing with his lovely wife, traveling, and most of all spending time with his family and friends to include special times with his grand and great grandchildren. Charles' favorite pastime was taking drives around the community and enjoying his cigar.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 29, 2025, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys, Father Rob Muhlenkamp, celebrant. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Sunday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, where memorial donations can be made to Mercy Health Hospice for their love and support of the Wilker family, or Friends of Holy Rosary Church.
