Terry Davis
Terry Wayne Davis, 82, of St. Marys, OH passed away 4:43 p.m. Thursday September 25, 2025 at his residence, with his family at his bedside.
He was born May 25, 1943 in St. Marys, OH to John and Alma (Berning) Davis, Sr. On July 12, 1969 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys, OH he married Charlotte Marie Flack, who survives.
Also survived by daughter Jennifer (Charles) Tuttle of St. Marys, OH; daughter Cecilia (Sheehan) Wheeler of Wapakoneta, OH; son Nathan Davis of Lima, OH; 4 grandchildren: Benjamin Tuttle, Abigail Tuttle, Reece Wheeler and Samuel Wheeler; brother John Davis, Jr. of St. Marys, OH; brother Fred (Kris) Davis of Toledo, OH; sister Dixie Mortimer of Bath, OH; sister Jennifer (Gary) Heffner of St. Marys, OH; and caregiver Penny Adams of St. Marys, OH.
Preceded in death by parents John and Alma Davis; son Aaron Davis; sister Linda (Dick) Mills; and sister-in-law Elizabeth "Ann" Davis.
He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. He then earned a bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University and a master's degree from St. Francis University. A lifelong educator, he taught art classes at New Bremen and Minster Local School Districts for 42 years.
Terry will be fondly remembered as a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. His entire world revolved around his family and their activities.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday October 5, 2025 at the Miller- Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys.
Visitation 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
