Mary Kennard
Mary "Kathy" Kennard, 66, of Findlay, died at 7:35 p.m., Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. She was born on January 3, 1959, in Celina to the late John and Rita (Mersman) Gibbons. She married the love of her life Dan Kennard in 1979, and he survives.
Kathy is also survived by her brother, John (Pam) Gibbons of CA; sisters: Susan (Jim-deceased) Buschur of GA and Bev (Mark) Kuenning of Celina.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Kim (Cindy) Gibbons.
Kathy was a licensed Optician and was employed by Ottawa Eye Care for over 30 years. She worked for a few optometrist groups for a total of 40+ years. Kathy had a magnetic, classy, and joyful personality. She was loved by all. She loved to play golf, workout, and was a professional shopper. Kathy loved her God, family, friends, and her pet dogs Ellie & Piper. Kathy was a member of the College First Church of God. She will be sorely missed.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the College First Church of God, Findlay, where visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Arrangements are being handled by COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay.
