* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

Kurt Grieshop
Kurt Grieshop, age 70, of Coldwater, passed away at his home on August 28, 2026.
He was born on April 20, 1956, in Coldwater to the late Robert & Ruth (Art) Grieshop. On August 24, 1985, he married Wendy Schroer and she survives in Montezuma.
He is also survived by children, Katrina (Sanel) Babic of Parker, Colorado, Jeffrey (Jodi) Grieshop of Coldwater, Mitchell (Ashley Nichols) Grieshop of San Diego, California, and Luke (Casey) Grieshop of Scottsdale, Arizona, 8 grandchildren, siblings, Viki (Ben) Dues of Philothea, Lory (Nick) Pappas of Pendleton, Indiana, Keith (Shelley) Grieshop of Coldwater, Doug (Deb) Grieshop of Celina, Angie (Jim) McGowan of Ft. Loramie, and Rob (Jenny) Grieshop of Missouri, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lee & Gloria Schroer of New Knoxville, and in-laws, Tracy Luck of New Knoxville, Lynn (Dave) Horstman of New Knoxville, Sherry (Dave) Zwiep of New Bremen, and Kyle (Krista) Schroer of New Knoxville.
He was preceded in death by siblings Dean Grieshop and Patrice Grieshop.
Kurt was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He was an avid fan of Ohio State football, oldies music, and trivia. Kurt loved being around his grandchildren and their many activities.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 PM to 7 PM on Tuesday, September 1, and from 9 AM to 10 AM on Wednesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Coldwater High School Athletic Boosters.
