You are hereby notified that on the 14th day of March, 2024, Justin Dean Berry, filed in this Court a Petition for Adoption of H. A. C. a minor, whose date of birth is May 6, 2017, and for a change of the name of the minor to H. A. B. This Court, located at Mercer County Courthouse, 101 N. Main Street, Room 307, Celina, Ohio, 45822 will hear the petition on the 3rd day of June, 2024, at 11:00 o'clock A.M. to determine whether consent of the parent is required.
It is alleged in the petition, pursuant to R.C. 3107.07, that the consent of Lewis Lee Patterson is not required due to the following:
That person is a parent who has failed without justifiable cause to provide more than de minimis contact with the minor for a period of at least one year immediately preceding the filing of the adoption petition or the placement of the minor in the home of the petitioner.
That person is a parent who has failed without justifiable cause to provide for the maintenance and support of the minor as required by law or judicial decree for a period of at least one year immediately preceding the filing of the adoption petition or the placement of the minor in the home of the petitioner.
State other grounds under R.e. 3107.07 (includes putative father of the minor born prior to January 1, 1997).
"A FINAL DECREE OF ADOPTION, IF GRANTED, WILL RELIEVE YOU OF ALL PARENTAL RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO CONTACT THE MINOR, AND, EXCEPT WITH RESPECT TO A SPOUSE OF THE ADOPTION PETITIONER AND RELATIVES OF THAT SPOUSE, TERMINATE ALL LEGAL RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE MINOR AND YOU AND THE MINOR'S OTHER RELATIVES, SO THAT THE MINOR THEREAFTER IS A STRANGER TO YOU AND THE MINOR'S FORMER RELATIVES FOR ALL PURPOSES. IF YOU WISH TO CONTEST THE ADOPTION, YOU MUST FILE AN OBJECTION TO THE PETITION WITHIN FOURTEEN DAYS AFTER PROOF OF SERVICE OF NOTICE OF THE FILING OF THE PETITION AND OF THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING IS GIVEN TO YOU. IF YOU WISH TO CONTEST THE ADOPTION, YOU MUST ALSO APPEAR AT THE HEARING. Public Hearing
for the Resolution of a Zoning Amendment
The Marion Township Trustees will be conducting their monthly meeting on May 14, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. at the Marion Township Building, 7808 Marion Drive, Maria Stein, Ohio 45860.
At this meeting there will be a hearing for the final approval of the zoning resolution amendment for the property currently owned by Grace Jutte in regards to the Thobe Subdivision.
The present zoning classification of this property is agriculture and is being amended to residential (R-1 and R-2) and to be known as Jutte Development, Lots 1 thru 11. The eleven parcel numbers are sequentially numbered 31-045400.0100 through 21-045400.1100: the parcels have not yet been given mailing addresses.
The application and survey for the amendment of zoning will be available for examination at the office of the Marion Township Trustees.
