* WHEN...For the Extreme Cold Warning, until noon EST today. For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 7 PM this evening to noon EST Wednesday.

Girls take the show

This week belongs to the girls, as key MAC and WBL games shift the focus about who is at the top and who is not. Minster takes on Parkway, Marion Local faces New Bremen, and Celina hosts Kenton. On the boys side, Fort Recovery and Coldwater battle for a much needed win, while Delphos St. John's and St. Henry take top billing in a key MAC matchup.

Conference Showdowns

It's a massive week for both the Midwest Athletic Conference and the Western Buckeye League in boy's and girl's basketball. Delphos St. John's travels to Marion Local for a top of the conference battle, while Coldwater tries to fend off Versailles at home and much more. The girl's slate sees St. Henry take their undefeated record up against New Knoxville, and Celina traveling to take on Shawnee.

New Year's Basketball

On the first show of 2026, we take a look at the week of boys basketball. Celina and Marion battled at the Hangar while St. Henry dominated St. Marys in MAC-WBL matchups. Coldwater took down Ansonia, while Minster battled in a win over Allen East. Parkway also competed in the Bobcat Holiday Tournament against Grandview. In girls basketball, Ansonia downed New Bremen in a close contest at the T&T Holiday Classic, while Minster cruised past Wapakoneta. We also take a look at the weekend ahead for the Redskins and New Knoxville, as the Rangers look to get win No. 1 on Saturday.
