Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Rose Beckman
Former Minster resident Rose Mary Beckman, 97, died Dec. 21, 2011, at Auglaize Acres, Wapakoneta, where she had been a resident for 30 years.
She was born Dec. 5, 1914, in Coldwater, to Aloys and Anna Moorman Beckman. She later was raised in Minster by Frank and Rose Knostman Beckman.
She is survived by five nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, Orlando and Oscar Beckman, and a sister Marcella Leugers.
A member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, she had been employed at Minster Mutual Fire Company, Minster Machine, Minster Lumber and Minster Printing.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 8:30-9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
