At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Bernadine Potbury
Bernadine Potbury, 90, St. Marys, died at 6:25 p.m. Dec. 31, 2011, at Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices, St. Marys.
She was born May 3, 1921, in Brown City, Mich., to Roy and Cora Mae Walker Eastman. On Aug. 5, 1939, she married Robert E. Potbury, who died Feb. 21, 1993.
Surviving are two children, Debora (James) Geis, Wapakoneta, and Don (Joanne) Potbury, Fort Wayne, Ind.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Etta-Mae Richardson.
She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, St. Marys, where she had received a Distinguished Service Award in 2004.
She worked at Potbury Ford Inc. auto dealership. She did clothing alterations for the Island Dress Shop, St. Marys.
She had been a member of the Music Club and the Shakespeare Club, volunteered for JTDM Hospital auxiliary and Adult Basic Learning and Education program. She was an active member of the St. Marys Sister Cities Organization. She had a pilot's license.
She was chosen St. Marys' Woman of the Year in 1997.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Timothy Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. today at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
