At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Dean Strawn
Dean J. Strawn, 66, Celina, died at 5:40 a.m. Feb. 1, 2012, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
He was born Nov. 10, 1945, in Van Wert County, to Harley and Erma Harp Strawn. On April 23, 1993, he married Carel Snyder, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are a sister-in-law Twila (Russell) Lehman, Rockford and several niece and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, Tennyson Strawn and Jerry Strawn.
A 1964 graduate of Ohio City High School, he was co-owner and operator of Chat Home Restaurant for 34 years.
He was a member of VFW, American Legion, Moose Lodge, and Eagles Aerie in Celina and Rockford. He was a member of the American Motorcyclist Association and was an avid rider for more than 40 years.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Randy Swanson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
