At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Genevieve Heppeard
Genevieve "Peg" Thees Heppeard, 91, Celina, died Jan. 31, 2012 at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 4, 2010, in Toledo, to Roy and Ruth E. "Petie" Tester Saunders. On April 7, 1942, she married Frederick B. Thees Sr., who died Oct. 20, 1967. On Oct. 11, 1998, she married Chester S. Heppeard, who died March 2, 2000.
Surviving are a daughter, Karen L. Andrews, Celina, two stepdaughters, Susan and Marjorie; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Frederick B. "Heav" Thees Jr.; a daughter, Kathy M. Hymer; and a grandson.
A 1938 graduate of Celina High School, she worked at Celina Insurance Group and Celina Radio Hospital. She was also a homemaker.
Services are 9 a.m. Saturday at W.H. Dick & Sons Hellwarth Funeral Home, the Rev. Richard VanHorn officiating. Burial will follow in Mendon Cemetery.
