At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Louis Boltz
Louis Charles Boltz, 89, St. Marys, died at 4:28 a.m. Jan. 31, 2012, at The Gardens in Celina.
He was born Feb. 9, 1922, in St. Marys to Harry Sr. and Elizabeth Moeller Boltz. On Aug. 29, 1941, he married Millicent A. Chiles, who died Sept. 2, 2002.
Surviving are daughters, Barbara (John) Mihm, St. Marys, and Beverly (Rev. Carl) Ward, Piqua; sisters, Mary Ann (Don) Brotherwood, St. Marys, Jane Boltz, Coldwater, and Sue Lefler, St. Marys; a brother-in-law, Leo Chiles, Cridersville; a sister-in-law, Louise Boltz, Cridersville; 10 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sons, Charles and Louis Q. Boltz; siblings, Harry "Johnny" Boltz Jr., Louise "Aim" McDermitt, Esther Boltz, Jean Ackley and Bill Boltz.
He attended Grace United Methodist Church, St. Marys, and worked as a machinist in the tool and die industry.
Service is 2 p.m. Friday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Charles Richtmyer officiating. Burial is in Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
