At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Harvey Hileman
Harvey C. Hileman, 96, Willshire, died Feb. 3, 2012, at Van Wert Inpatient & Hospice Center, Van Wert.
He was the son of Elias A. and Eliza D. (Bilderback) Hileman. He married Mary E. Lautzenheiser, who died in January 1989.
Surviving are four daughters, Karen (David) Freeman, Van Wert; Helen (James) Hawkins, Decatur, Ind.; Dayle (Albert) Alspaugh, Rockford; and Deb Thomas, South Charleston; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Hileman, Farmington, Ark.; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are a son, Donald H. Hileman; a grandson, Chad B. Alspaugh; four brothers, Isaac, DeLoy, John and Joe Hileman; and five sisters, Florence Stevens, Dora Casad, Eva Sadler, Hattie Hileman and Gracie Hileman.
He retired in 1976 from General Electric Corp., Decatur. He was a member of the Willshire Union United Methodist church, life member of Moose Lodge #1311, Decatur; Willshire Volunteer Fire Department and the Sportsman Club in Willshire.
Services are 1 p.m. Monday at Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Pastor Bud Larimore officiating. Burial will be in Willshire Cemetery.
Calling is 1-6:30 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Moose Lodge #1311 will conduct a service at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to Wren EMS, Union United Methodist Church or Community Health Professional Hospice, Van Wert.
