Don Sullivan
Don Edward Sullivan, 84, St. Marys, died at 3:08 a.m. Feb. 20, 2012, at Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices, St. Marys.
He was born Nov. 18, 1927, in Cass County, Ind., to Ralph and Margaret Sharts Sullivan. On June 3, 1947, he married Marian Alice VanHoesen, who survives.
Also surviving are five children, Merle (Frieda) Sullivan, Fulton, Ind., Alice Lynch, Logansport, Ind., Carolyn (Michael) Colvin, Flora, Ind., Donna (Eugene) Field, Peru, Ind., and Carla (Kenneth) Pond, Rockford; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was a farmer and had served in World War II with the U.S. Army. He attended Otterbein Community Church, St. Marys.
There will be no service or calling.
Memorials may be directed to Otterbein Benevolence Fund, St. Marys.
Arrangements are being handled by Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford.
