Jade Riggs
Jade A. Riggs, 10, Montezuma, OH died Saturday July 23, 2016, due to an accidental drowning which occurred near her residence.
She was born June 9, 2006 in Dayton, OH to Marvin Riggs and Donna Marie Gambill.
Survivors include: twin sister Desirea Riggs of Montezuma, OH; sister Skylle Riggs of Montezuma, OH; maternal grandparents Douglas and Melinda Gambill of Montezuma, OH; paternal grandparents Allen and Evelyn Riggs of Portsmouth, OH; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceded in death by: father Marvin Riggs; mother Donna Marie Gambill.
She attended Celina City Schools, where she was a student in Mrs. Weigel's classroom. She was a member of Grand Lake United Methodist Church in Montezuma.
Jade enjoyed listening to music, fireworks, watching episodes of "Peppa Pig" and tossing pebbles into the water. She will be dearly missed.
Funeral rites are scheduled to begin 10:30 a.m. Saturday July 30, 2016 at Grand Lake United Methodist Church in Montezuma, OH. The Rev. Corey Bailey will officiate the services. Burial will take place in the Union City Cemetery in Union City, IN.
Visitation 5-8 p.m. Friday at the church.
