The National Weather Service in Wilmington has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 1100 AM EDT.
* At 826 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Gary Garman
Gary Lee Garman, 81, of Napoleon passed away in the early morning of January 3rd 2022.
Gary was born in Celina, Ohio on July 26th, 1940, to the late Lee and Pauline (Kettle) Garman. He married Sharon Laux on January 23, 1960 and she survives.
  Gary worked in sales for associated software consultants and retired in 2010. He enjoyed spending time with family, traveling the country (traveling to all but three states), walking in the park with his wife and their two dogs, collecting thousands and thousands of sports cards, mini golfing, and eating tenderloin sandwiches and French waffles at the county fairs. Gary always had a smile on his face and loved to talk to anyone and everyone. He always wanted to be on the go and doing something. Gary was a genuine generous soul donating to many different organizations and helping anyone he could. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Gary is survived by his wife of 61 years Sharon, sons Joe (Ronda) Garman, Jeff (Amanda) Garman, Jay Garman, and daughter Melissa (Greg) Knapp; grandchildren: Valerie (Aaron) Watson, Nathan (Cammy) Garman, Chelsea (Benjamin) Wagner, Sara (Kenneth) Price, Hanna (Alec) Knapp; great grandchildren: Max Watson, Grant Watson, Rhett Watson, and Alivia Wagner; brothers Tom Garman and Ron (Caroline) Garman.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents Lee and Pauline Garman; grandson Cody Garman; brother Randy Garman; and sister-in-law Andy Garman.
The family will be holding a celebration of Gary's life from on Saturday March 5th 2022 at St. John Lutheran Church Celina, Ohio from 10:30am - 2:00pm. The church is located at 1100 N Main Street Celina, Ohio 45822.
Memorial contributions in Gary's honor can be gifted to the Alzheimer's & Dementia Association or your local Humane Society.
