* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 1100 AM EDT.
* At 826 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Larry Geier
Larry Geier, 74, passed away in Hollywood Florida Wednesday, December 22, 2021, after a brief bout with cancer, a heartfelt loss for family and friends near and far.
Larry is survived by his wife of 29 years and dear love, Kathy, and his sons Jason (Brian), Brad, and Chris. Also surviving are his sisters, Lou Ann Wendel, Esther (Tom) Gray, and Jean (Rich) Schroer; a sister-in-law, Mary Geier; and his brothers-in-law, Barry (Betsy) Tirbovich, Brian (Janet) Tirbovich and many nephews and nieces that he loved as his own.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Elsie Geier, brother Louie Geier, sister Rita Kunk, brothers-in-law, Tom Frysinger, Joe Wendel, LaVern Kunk; and his mother-in-law Sophia Tirbovich.
Larry was born in Celina, Ohio. He was a Vietnam War veteran, an avid golfer and scuba diver. He enlivened Thursday nights as a volunteer bingo caller at St. Demetrius Serbian Orthodox Church in Akron. He and Kathy enjoyed traveling the world, meeting people, experiencing different cultures and exploring unique SCUBA destinations. Larry was always the eternal optimist and loved to help friends and strangers whenever assistance was needed-although no one remained a stranger for long. He was known for his mischievous sense of good-hearted humor and spread fun and laughter wherever he went. Lovingly referred to as "crazy uncle/cousin Larry", he will be dearly missed by his extended family and the many friends he made over the years.
Celebrations of life will be held in Celina, Ohio, at the Mercer County Elks on February 12 at 1:00 p.m., Fairlawn, Ohio, at St. Demetrius Serbian Orthodox Church Hall on February 13 at 12:30 p.m., and Emerald Hills Villas Hollywood, Florida, on March 5 at 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry's memory to the Akron Area YMCA (50 South Main Street LL 100, Akron, OH 44308), Summa Foundation (525 E Market St, Akron, OH 44304), Heidelberg University (310 E Market St, Tiffin, OH 44883) or St. Demetrius Serbian Orthodox Church(3106 Ridgewood Rd, Akron, OH 44321).
