* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 1100 AM EDT.
* At 826 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Sandra Braun
Sandra K. "Sandy" Braun, age 72 of Celina, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at her home in Celina surrounded by her family.
She was born on November 8, 1949 to the late Leon and Rosa (Liette) Hein in Celina. On September 29, 1979 she married Jerry Braun who survives in Celina.
She is survived by her children Tonya (Tony) Huber of Coldwater, Jessica (Aaron) Siefring of Celina, Dustin (Crystal) Braun of Rockbridge, six grandchildren, Ashley Huber and fiancé Kerry Howell, Josh (Alyssa) Huber, Austin Siefring, Alexis Siefring, Karsyn Siefring, Kaylee Siefring, one great grandchild Isabella Howell, brother Bob (Paula) Hein of Celina, sisters Diana (Leo) Homan of Maria Stein, Gale (Denny) Dellinger of Celina, and Tammy (Dean) Klosterman of Celina.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina and was an Avon Lady for 40 years. She retired from the Gardens at Celina as an Activities Coordinator in March of 2020. Her family was her life and there's nothing she enjoyed more than being together. Between kids and grandkids sporting events, family fishing and patio days, her and Jerry made the most of family time. She enjoyed gardening, antique shopping, going to garage sales and flea markets. She also enjoyed crafting and sewing.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, January 10, 2022 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Fr. Tom Brenberger C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens cemetery.
Friends and family may call from 2:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 9, 2022 and on Monday morning from 9:00 A.M. - 10:00 A.M. at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home.
