At 640 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Ada to Jackson Center, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph, pea size hail, and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Sidney, Bellefontaine, Kenton, Ada, Jackson Center, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Waynesfield, Belle Center, West Mansfield, Chippewa Park, Northwood, Blanchard, Roundhead, Quincy, and Mount Victory.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 92 and 98.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for central and west central Ohio.

Doris Baker
Doris Lee Baker, age 80, of St. Marys, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, September 28, 2025.
She was born on March 22, 1945, in Cincinnati, to the late Walter Frank and Irene Jane (Frazier) Brinson.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Amy Baker of Decatur, Indiana; grandchildren, Jared Baker and Kylee (David) Dirksen, both of Decatur; and great-grandson, Rowan Dirksen. Also surviving are her brothers and sisters, Jody (Bill) Shaw, Rosemary (Joe) Evon, Gene (Valli) Childers, Dave (Sandi) Childers, Mark (Bea) Childers, and Carol (John) San Giorgio, all of Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Howes.
A proud graduate of Powell County High School in Stanton, Kentucky, Doris worked for more than 30 years at Goodyear Tire and Rubber in St. Marys before retiring. She was a devoted member of the First Church of God in St. Marys.
Doris lived a full and active life. She enjoyed golfing, tending to her yard, sewing, crocheting, and gardening. She also loved her family deeply and cherished every moment spent together. Doris especially enjoyed her "toys," including her Corvette and Honda scooter. She was a very giving person and had a passion for helping others.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Cisco Funeral Home in St. Marys, with Pastor Joe Shouse officiating.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.
